Just finished studying with DD. Next going to do housework. Is that considered me time? Haha
housework is not ME time...it's work. ME time means sitting around to do what you like. i'm supposed to vacuum the floor but my cramps are killing me. -

Hi Janet,
my individual thread was created by the moderator.
Yes, saw that BigD created yours.
But, oneself can create own thread too.
Eg : MrsKiasu created her own thread, now exceeded 390+ pages of personal life sharing.
Thus, Fishfingers likewise can create his own too.

looked at my calendar only to realize good friend coming soon...no wonder backache and cramps.
i would have thought my menses would not be heavy compared to my younger days...but it's still the same.
whole of sec 1 has a hike today. i objected to daughter going for it...but hubby said it would be enjoyable :slapshead: 2moro, she will have CCA until 6pm. -
2 friends from overseas who have been staying with us for the last few days just left for the airport. It seems very quiet now even though they weren’t noisy! They also had other friends and relatives who invited them over or took them out some of the time, but I feel like I’ve been busier than usual. I’ll have to clear up the room they were staying in afterwards, and set up the spare table for my younger daughter who likes to study in that room. I had to fold up the table as it took up too much space in the room, and she’s been doing her work in her room or at the dining table the last few days. I don’t know if it counts as me time, but it is nice to be alone again (1 daughter is home, but she’s very, very quiet!).

True... I am sitting at the sofa and surfing kiasu parents. Very soon, need to bring dd to school. Our work is like 24 hrs... but I enjoy the time with DD.Yngmng:

Feel like eating at those teppanyaki counters at food courts and go for a quiet drive and spend some time at ECP before picking my wife up.Feeling hungry now… -

Me time spent pruning and potting new cuttings. Bought some flowers for the bedroom.
Re Michelle Chong's rant on Singaporeans not taking pride in their work, I think that is really a broad sweep of the brush. Without knowing the background to her rant... There will always be individuals who are not interested in their jobs. Sometimes job pressure gets in the way. It is true that you have a higher chance of getting better service and quality when you pay more. Peak periods or hours are always hard in everyone.
And there will always be bad apples. Let's not be so negative. -
There is no bad jobs but unpleasant colleagues
I decided NOT to remain in ofc to do the cleaning after working hours
I guess the extra stress is affecting me as I woke up 2.30am and found challenging to return to sleep before the alarm rang at 5.30am
ME time now …
