Hi, does Qifa provide info and/or breakdown of numbers if balloting will be carried out got SC 1-2km or SC >2km if we call in to the school to check? I see some popular schools giving the statistics either online on their school websites or manually on the P1 registration board.

Hi everyone,

I know that there are many anxious parents out there who are waiting for the last day to decide which school to register their kids.

The most updated info that I have attained from school today is:-
There will be balloting for PR who are staying between 1km to 2km.

So as of now, SC has very good chance of securing a place in Qifa.
The main reason why Qifa had balloting for SC who are staying more than 2km away last year was because the school’s enrollment for year 2017 was 210. This year, the enrollment has increased to 240 for year 2018 P1.
There should be ample vacancies for SC unless there is a sudden increase of SC registering tmr.

If qifa is still of a nearer choice for u, go for it. Dun wait till last min. I think there might be parents who keep calling the school to get the stats and any balloting tmr.
I have friends staying more than 2km and i hope all can get in so my son have friends as classmates. Haha.

Hope all singapore child can get into this school as for some of us, qifa is the nearest school within our vicinity and yet by distance we are not anywhere.

I do have a problem here. For parents that send their children by public bus, is there any shortcut to reach the school? On registration day i tried not to drive to the school and the walk is very long and tiring even for adult like me. I am wondering how do the children walk to the school as i might have took the longest way.
