Hello everyone,

My dear son will be joining next year.

Can anyone pls share other than the school where else can we get the school uniform from?

Thanks.

Cheers,

You may go to
26 Teck Whye Ln, 680025
Yangtze Kiang

Thank u very much.

About the other question, does the school provides the breakdown which criteria need balloting?

Thanks.

Cheers,
As of now, only PRs staying between 1km to 2km need to ballot

Thanks for the update Dottypooh. Hope you can share more as the status changes. I am in the 1-2km zone and yet to submit as I'm wondering if I should try Qifa or not. I have friends in the >2 km range too.

If qifa is still of a nearer choice for u, go for it. Dun wait till last min. I think there might be parents who keep calling the school to get the stats and any balloting tmr.
I have friends staying more than 2km and i hope all can get in so my son have friends as classmates. Haha.

Thanks dottypooh for ur update.

Hope all singapore child can get into this school as for some of us, qifa is the nearest school within our vicinity and yet by distance we are not anywhere.

I do have a problem here. For parents that send their children by public bus, is there any shortcut to reach the school? On registration day i tried not to drive to the school and the walk is very long and tiring even for adult like me. I am wondering how do the children walk to the school as i might have took the longest way.

My daughter takes public transportation too. I am not sure which way did you walk. There is a way to cut to the school among the terrace houses.
I am going to try my best to describe.
Let's say you are alighting at the bus stop in front of Tanglin Secondary school. Cross the road via traffic light. Turn left and walk along the pavement, turn right after the big drain and go straight ahead along the landed properties and you will see a pavement between two houses. Take that pavement and at the end of that pavement, you will see the school ahead on the left. You will enter via the guardhouse entrance.

Hope it helps.. it is less than a 5 mins walk from the bus stop

Hi hi,
Is your child a Singaporean? If he/she is, shouldn't be a problem based on the current data.

Hi! Yes we are SC. hopefully there won't be a lot of latecomers like me tomorrow. I wonder if parents will withdraw from Nan Hua and apply Qifa for better chance too.

But definitely the walkways are not sheltered right?
