Remember to remind whoever that fail to put in the waitlist. Same priority, let's try to make all go in.
If put in waitlist, the child will still needs to go 2C Supplementary with another school first?
On what circumstances they will let the ballot out child in?
Many thanks!hojicha:

Lexy - Can you elaborate on this waitlist option? Can waitlist request starts now? Thanks.
I am not in the position to speak for the school, but it's too soon now to put on waitlist (at least for those balloting 2C)
Since there will be 1 who failed via balloting, the school may give some priority to the single person. We never know who decided to drop before the school start.
And that person still need to go through 2Cs.
According to the school, there is no such priority as the waiting list is not on first come first served basis. They will look through all the applicants whenever there's vacancy. -
Just received phone call from ACSP. ACSP’s balloting will take place at 9:30am of this Wed, 2 August 2017. 40 SC children within 1km vs. 39 seats.

Dear all, my son has registered into ACSJ. Can ask for ACSJ, when can students start CCA? Some say P2, while some say P3 after new principle. Thanks.

Congrats!
Under the former principle, P1 students were allowed to join CCA, but when the current principle took office, she made changes to the rule and excluded P1 students. By the way CCA is not compulsory for P2 & P3 students, but personally I think it's good for them to join early. -

As I had predicted before! Initially many parents were hopeful that balloting would be for 1-2km since there are more vacancies this year, but apparently the swing still happened and ACSJ is still the safer one for those <1km, the same as SJIJ.
Good luck to all parents going for balloting! -

Yes, your prediction is right! At 4:18pm last Friday, I was hoping the applicants' number stopped at 38. However, it went up to 40 in the end
