Is your kid on Minecraft pc or on hp?
All members of our family has a MC hp account which we played during sch holidays.
Not the latest version but still fun as family activity.
I got my son a MC pc account last yr as a reward but he has not touched it for over a year as no one plays with him and we don’t allow online gaming interaction at this age. -
My son has been playing MC hp (free) for some time. I finally got him a MC Pc account, hangdown by a friend who stopped playing. He Wants to build more but because no friends, he told me is a hindrance . I control his play time, and his purpose is to exchange ideas and tips. I do not play and have no idea about MC but my initial observation is it is good as a building platform.

Ya. I think much of the fun is in interaction with other players. There are a couple of books in the library or online articles about building tips.
I started of not knowing how to play then got addicted to creative mode. Then the server hp crashed and we lost a lot of our creations. Heartpain but kids and I learned about the reality of computer gaming- spent so much time on it, at the end of the day it is still unreal. I still do not know how to craft stuff but my kids are happy doing those chores or fight monsters for their mum. Hahaha. -
Somehow i am not into games, especially not pixel. My hubby and i had no interest so it is very lonely when my DS play alone. Therefore trying to match him with players of MC his age so they can learn and move on together. I control his playtime to weekend and holidays too. He already have a collection of books. Do you think my DS can befriend your kids?

My youngest is in p5. He only gets to play pc during Jun/dec sch holidays. I am not sure how well verse he is in MC pc and may not be frequent player since next yr p6 already.
Have he tried asking around his peers. It seems like MC is not very in now. None of my son classmates play them regularly anymore.
We pm then.
