Based on risk on balloting, northview has a higher risk. As you are near the right side of the area and the alternative near ones like Huamin also full, there is limited choices left in terms of the within 1km ones.Hihi
Northview left 19 vacancies ~ is nearest to my hse. Naval base got 76. But is further. Any advise which one is better choice for my children,tks
Naval base look safe at 2Cs.
If your first choice is northview, apply first (but you should set a threshold on the balloting) and only look only at the number for within 1km SC (assuming you are applying as SC). Once above your threshold, withdraw and move to the 2nd choice. (more logically way is to avoid balloting altogether). You may need to be around to move around on the last day to monitor and move around. -

You should be around the area whereby you are within 1km of peiying and naval base and northland.
The catchment area of peiying is smaller as there is a neighbouring khatib camp
Those staying abit north of northland should be near to YPS and Xishan and Ahmad ibrahim - these are the folks who will try northland since they have alot of alternatives (perhaps explaining the high balloting rate of northland)
Those staying on the left side of northland has peiying and naval base,
whilst the right side with Xishan + Northview or northview + naval base.
in term of overall dynamic for 2C, right side of northland has more to lose as there are limited places left after 2C and huamin would be full and northview close to full (for future applicants reference)

Total vacancies around the area is 388, apart from northview, the rest still looks fairly safe. -

Just want to make sure, you are asking in relation to phase 2C next year?
If thats the case not all is lost. Huamin is balloting within 1km this year but we are not sure the exact number within 1km. ratio maybe at most 1.2 is to 1.
Jiemin within 2km for SC is also seems doable.
Xishan and YPS seems safe at 2C and northview seems safe for within 1km. If you got the time, visit the schools and look at the environment and assess. -

So just a thot shall I try for 2C Northland (1-2km) or just go for northview, Xishan and Huamin (within 1km).
If example I fail CF at 2B, can I try for the same school CF for 2C? -

If you are eligible for 2B in CF, it's most likely that you won't need to proceed to 2C.
You won't get a balloting chance for Northland if you are 1-2km for the school in P2C. -

If you are within 2km of CF and under 2b, I think you can plan for your school in 2C but highly unlikely you get to use your backup plan. And I don't recommend joining the northland folks because you have zero chance.
