So this score is the same throughout whole of singapore for all schools ?

Yes national level mim express is 200. This is the sch commitment to kid , in return kid must be commited thru the 6 yrs IP as well ( even if kid may score 280, still must be commited go back to the sch which CO is given out ) .
Since sch can give co means certain level of confidence in the child n parent ability 🙂

        GL:
you will know the day you get the PSLE results and DSA posting. you have to indicate your acceptance in late Oct.

Does it mean MoE or the schools check the PSLE score before they offer admission to wait listed DCs?
        Just a guess.

        TIA

As long as your psle results at least express "standard", you will be accepted by DSA school provided there are spaces (vacated by others).

otherwise, you will participate in the secondary one posting exercise.

Thanks GL. I suppose the admission for the COs also will be after checking the minimum psle score requirements for express.

I understand wait lists have another if (dsa vacancies are available).

What is "at least express standard" ? I seem to be getting different answers from different participants in this forum

Mu understanding is that your child just has to qualify for the express stream which is about 200.

Check out the MOE site that confirms this....https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/direct-admissions/dsa-sec#possible-outcomes

We checked the MOE website many times already. It is unclear as to what is this "minimum express score".
