Yeah, it's quite bizarre as we specifically applied for IP. Thanks phtthp for the info! We'll be writing to them. That means they put your daughter on two WL : both IP track as well as O level.
Better contact SNGS Secondary (tel : 6345-1839), to find out why
And just in case anyone was wondering, the letter only states \"must be eligible to attend express course\", it doesn't state any target score. -

We checked the MOE website many times already. It is unclear as to what is this \"minimum express score\".
Just give Temasek JC a call (tel : 6442-8066), they will explain to you.
After made the call, is it possible to update all of us here, so that other TJC parents who are given CO / WL, are aware what's this minimum express score In TJC, all about ?
Thank You very much, for kind help. -

Hi all, i am new to this forum. My daughter has just got a CO from tjc. Letter states she must still score the minimum express score. Can anyone tell me what is this minimum express score and where can i find it ? Is this different from school to school ? What is this score based on ?
I asked the same question during yesterday's tea session at Cedar (DSA Cedar- IP) . Answer given by the HOD was DC just need to qualify for Express stream. -

Strange !

First time, hear of such case.
Btw, the correct telephone no is 354-1839, Not 345-1839 (my apology)
Because last year (2016) : COP for SNGS O level was 253, while COP for IP was 257.
253 and 257 are very high.
So, they may not be looking at 200.
When you call them tomorrow, clarify with them, \"Does it mean that if my daughter's PSLE T-score were to fall within a certain minimum Range, means the WL (Waitlist) will qualify her for O level track, whereas if her T-score were to fall under another much higher range, means she qualify for IP track \"?
Then, u have to ask them : what exactly are these 2 different Ranges ? -

Thanks a lot for the guidance - in the moment of confusion, we didn't even think to ask these questions. Thank you! I'll update tomorrow so other parents can take this for future reference if applicable. -
We attended a session at HCI too, for DSA students, they do not need to meet the COP. Those who are on waitlist now, to convert to CO, they must meet cut-off for express stream (200) and of course subjected to the vacancy available for WL. For all WL students now, their names have been submitted to MOE. Their system will generate who to be converted to CO if we submit the option form which will given to our DC on 30 Oct by their primary school. So on the actual day of results release, we will know if our DC is offered a place or rejected. If is rejection, then our child will have to follow the S1 posting.

Oh, I checked mail box just now, but still don't have. How about the others? For those waiting for official mail by post from SNGS - we received ours today.
Puzzles me though - there were 2 WL letters - one for IP and one for O level programme, although the application was only for IP. -
Hi I am not new to the forum but it is my first time posting. So exciting reading abt getting CO for the dream schools. Congrats to those who got it!
Need some help here. I am trying to send a pm to a parent. I see the message as sent with the time and date but the message is in still in my outbox. Can anyone advise me the pm has been sent? Cos no reply from the parent yet! Thanks a million! -

Hi kay22,
Just to clarify - During your attendance of HCI briefing, is it indicated for CO offers, candidate must meet COP for Express (which is ard 200-220 based on other mum's previous indications. First time I've come across WL must meet COP for Express stream. Logically, WL is dependent on available places fr those who released their CO offers.
Someone can help clarify? -
Hi all
Received CO from St Margaret’s thru Snail mail.
