Was chatting with a few KSP mums & we're seeing more COs oferred for sports & talents. Think schools started to heed MOE's directive. DS hv many academically well-deserving frds who received only WL (applied only thro academic as they're not active or sports talents with a handful who do not want DSA thro sports bcoz of heavy commitments).

[/quote]Thanks Estéema for your encouraging message. True that the DSA has changed this year. My DD1 got into her sch through DSA academic 3 years ago. Although she need to go thru GAT, but i think it is much easier for her then.

Will wait till end of PSLE for my DD2 to decide if she wants to take up the only CO she received.

May I check, for NUSH CO letter this year, is there any clause that says ‘place is only confirmed only if put NUSH as first choice’, or something along this effect? Thanks.

my understanding is once you have CO they cant take away your seat unless you dont meet minimum PSLE requirement for express stream but again I dont know for sure how NUSH deals

I believe this clause applies only to WL.

FYI.. NUSH does not participate in S1 posting.

They do conduct SIE secondary intake exercise which happens after PSLE results are out and is based on PSLE result. It's a new application, not related to DSA intake so you have to check with school after PSLE Results are out whether they are going to conduct SIE this year.

If you dont put the school as first choice, you will be allocated the first choice school that you have filled in.
Is not that NUSH will take away the CO, just that you will not be allocated to NUSH. Unless your first choice is on WL and no space for conversion to CO, then you will be allocated to NUSH. This applies to.all school.

DD also did well for her prelim, with 3 A* and the fourth subject near to A*. 5 more weeks to the actual battle
