Went to Westgate to donate 450ml of blood

Went to Big Box to look for some clothes and shoes but left with a great disappointment due to the limited variety

        Jennifer:
With ah boy now at KKH Clinic K - allergy clinic.

Doc recommends to start immunotherapy since the oral medications are not effective since we started on it.

The immunotherapy now comes in small pill that dissolves with 5 seconds under the tongue, no more liquid form to be stored in the fridge.

Now waiting for the skin prick test n lung test , then to see the doctor again.
        ah boy, get well soon.

sudden allergy outbreak or ongoing issue?

                MKS and Janet

I like the blood bank at Westgate. The ambience is nice. I don’t donate blood regularly though; maybe once or twice a year
The blood we see when we have a cut is bright red. The blood drawn from the vein is deeper in colour; liver colour
Anyway, I take it as a good deed done today

:yikes: get well soon! We see Dr Ann Goh for allergies; Dr Mark Koh (upon Dr Gohs referral) for dermatological concerns. KKH takes care of young patients well - double thumbs up.

Finally set on going on board the immunotherapy program. Would be easier to manage with pills.
Starting in Nov after he sits for the O levels HCL exam. Won't want him to be distracted with whatever possible side effects during exam preparation period.

Possible side effects includes stomach cramps, increased running nose/ blocked nose, coughing during the initial period.

Ongoing issue with his nose which cannot be \"not blocked\".
Luckily we did not have too many hazy days so far this year.

                    :xedfingers:

Is the needle used very fine? I have hypothyroidism...each time I need to get blood drawn for test, the lab technician can't find the vein. As I am on long term medication, I don't think my blood will be accepted. Otherwise it is good to donate blood.
