Same here! But for the life of me I still am unclear what it was all about! It seems largely forgotten if u ask me!slmkhoo:
So many people can't donate for one reason or another that if you can, you should. My husband and I can't even though we are in good health, just because we lived in the UK during the BSE (mad cow disease) period. -
I mean I still don’t understand how the prions work.

I plan to complete my slides for a presentation due next week. Can’t be helped as I have to do some office work even on leave. The good thing is I can do it at my own pace

2 months ago when I donated blood, I was told my haemoglobin was very high and the nurse asked me what food I have been taking. I remember I ate steak the day before. Maybe eating beef will help your daughter's iron level?
My younger daughter has donated once, but the last time she tried, she was told her haemoglobin was a bit low, so they told her to take iron tablets and try again later. -
For blood donation, ladies can donate about a week after period. Don’t donate just after period as the haemoglobin level is sure low
