Parents, can someone enlighten me on the school allocation process. So after we submit the preference form, regardless WL or CO, when will we know the school posting? Is it on PSLE results day, or is it on the same day as all other kids who didn’t take part in DSA?

      Thank you.

Just came across this. Does it mean that if a child gets a CO via DSA, he / she cannot choose to reject the CO and apply to a school via S1 posting?

Oh, found the answer further down. Doesn't affect me either way, but good to know!

For those who have kids in IB schools, I would appreciate your feedback on tamil as second language in the IB program. There seems to be quite abit of mandarin materials for IB preparation but I can’t find any tamil self help or assessment books in the bookstore for the tamil standard IB program. Firstly Where can I find materials for Tamil? Secondly if the child is scoring about 60 - 70 at MTL in primary school, is it easy to cope for IB? What is the standard like? And how do you think the child can prepare for it? Thanks.

Am keen to hear from parents of kids who are doing IB - coping well and not coping well and any strong correlation with their t-scores. Thanks

Since DSA 2017 is over, I am seeking the advice of experienced parents here - my ds is in P5, any parents whose kids has successfully DSAed into HCI or RI, can share your experience and if there’s any advice for those parents whose kids would be trying next year, please?

Anyone knows anything abt the Science or Maths camp that HCI conduct every year for the P6? I heard that if your ds does well, it will help with their DSA. How to join these camps? Can advise? Wonder if RI also have such camps?

                        Thanks in advance!
