Hey everyone! I'm not sure you all remember me but i'm Arijit and i was that annoying little P6 student with broken english and full caps who used to irritate you guys back in 2009 XD I was so worried about my PSLE score and i even tried to predict the scores of others. I was imbued with so much anxiety over my school choices that i i had to list all my school choices and grades for you all to help me decide. Nonetheless, in hindsight i'm very amused my my own mischevious ways and words. As you can guess, i'm 18 now. I went on to study at BPGHS for 4 years and now i'm a proud alumnus of that school and its Military Band. I guess i did well for my Os and i'm in my final year at National Junior College [i wanted to go to RJ but my mother tongue does not even offer HMT, and i just missed out on straight A1s so i'm not good enough to appeal in. But i'm very happy and i really like NJC and i'm truly grateful for being here] preparing for the second half of my prelims and A levels. I'm also halfway through my A*Star scholarship application (fingers tightly crossed that i can get in).
I'm saying this to show you guys how much this simple thread has influenced my life. Especially ChiefKiasu, i could not precisely comprehend your words of advice back then, but now i understand what you mean to a much deeper extent. All of you who replied to me then had influenced my sec sch choice and i'm just very glad where i ended up. Thank you for tolerating my adolescent behaviour 6 years ago. After this is NS and probably NUS for me. Life goes on, just very glad to come across this again. Cie La Vie and goodbye peeps!

Time flies! Great to see you making good progress in your learning journey Arijit! One more word of advice... that journey doesn't end even when you graduate from NUS. Learning is what gives meaning to our lives! Once you see that, it will put all your sweat and hardwork in the right perspective, and you will have a successful career. Don't forget to contribute back to the society that gave you all this opportunity to grow and blossom. There are many out there who needs a bit of help to get themselves off the ground. Hold out a hand for them and give them a chance to grow like yourself too.Hey everyone!
