It’s just 2 days towards PSLE days.

Impt for parents not to drill anymore. I noticed many parents showing anxieties & panic. Yr kid can feel all yr anxieties, so model your sense of calmness. Altho I try let DS relax & read, he gravitate towards reading sister’s sec text! Faint!! Then he got into "feeling ill" with faux symptoms of stomach upset, sniffles with actual runny nose. Put me in panic mode just days before exams. So decided to get him into a game of monopoly & just hv fun.

As mentioned earlier, now is the time to fish out your greatest "weapon" of love, encouragement, hugs, nite massages, etc, etc. If continue to do worksheets naturally they’ll get anxious & nervousness make more mistakes… My attitude is Que Sera Sera let kids go in as is at this point with whatever abilities, time so close to racing line, not the right time train/coach or practice anymore. We don’t want kids to breakdown in exams hall. I rmbr a batch of P5 previously brokedown in hysteria during SA2. Counselllors called in.

Kids want to do well, but they’ll not be in optimum condition if stressed & worried "if they can perform". Give them your affirmation. That’ll be what they’re looking for that’ll propel them to recall to be careful, to rmbr all the knowledge, principles, etc to apply.

Pray for all kids to be kept in good health emotionally, physically, mentally, and for some spiritually. ALL THE BEST!!

It’s just 2 days before psle. Time to tone down and calm the nerves. The night before English, sleep early. Maybe prepare chamomile tea after dinner and let the child drink at about 8 plus…it does have a calming effect.

        All the best.

For Math, I remember preparing a bottle of chicken essence for son to drink before his paper 2. If the child drinks 2 bottles, it will be very tiring.

My DS tried out first 20 questions from section A RGPS science prelims 2017. Since there is no answer key, those interested can pm me. I will send answers. We can compare and then check only when the answers differ. This is not fool proof but better than doing nothing.

Heard that stickers needed for calculator and Chinese dictionary. Anyone received this. My child didn’t receive. Message the teacher and she also didn’t reply. A lot of the classmates are not going to school tomorrow and mine might not be going also.

this is VERY important. make sure you get at least one sticker for each.

the night before math, insert new batteries, make sure all functions work and bring a spare calculator if available. this is the time to be KIASU. at least 2 2B pencils, soft eraser, 2 pens. clear ruler.
