Easy or tough paper, all the kids will be sitting for the same set of papers. End results will also be similar whether the paper is tough or easy.

After each paper is done, move on. Do not dwell on the paper. Last thing you want is for your kid to be affected by a paper that is already done.

easy or tough...don't stress yourself over it. marks are moderated. that's why there are 4 marking days and a lengthy period before results are released. AFTER each paper is over, don't compare. you will be worried for nothing.

even for daughter in sec 1, calculators require a school sticker before it is allowed to be brought into the exam hall. please double check. it is very urgent.

That's true, DD1 offered to lend her calculator to DS for this Friday's Maths paper as spare calculator, and we see there were 2 stickers, one from Primary school and the other from current Secondary school.

So sweet & thotful girl to care for younger sis. :love:

DD still go to school including today. In fact she said yesterday the class still have art lesson, & she said it’s good to see everybody enjoy art for 1 period, like a way to de-stress abit during this time. Today she also have PE lesson which she is looking forward.


Like other KS parents, we always feel our child have not fully prepare for this major exam. Initially I was tempted to lock my DD up at home for this 3 days for intensive study at home till PSLE day. But on second thoughts, I decided to let her go to school to interact with classmates & teachers for half a day to de-stress. Teachers still go through revision, give tips, during this 3 days. I can see my DD really study very hard & seriously this time after back from school. Maybe when she have reasonable of de-stress time, she studies more effectively…^-^

Good to know you let your DD be on regular mode. Some kids thrive amongst peers & get the spur when teachers discussing & preparing their mindset in class last few days prior to exams. Kids generally want to do well & receive affirmation fr teachers & parents. This is the time to relax & chat loving with them to let them know parents live & support them whatever comes.

DS had his glasses brushed off to the floor & broke the bridge by his classmate just before one SA2. Coincidentally, I was just briefing him after dinner, to relax & be calm no matter what happens as life can be unpredictable. Anyway, as adults we've to handle whatever life bounce to us & fortunately DS said he rmbr'd my warnings & didn't spend time fussing over it tho teacher asked if he wants more time for his paper. He said he just calm himself told his classmate accidents do happen & held on to his glasses with one hand while writing with the other. Que Sera Sera, he made the other boy less guilty & I was proud how he handled himself. His grades turn out as good as he had always been doing.

Must prepare our kids to take things st strike & no be anxious or panic in every situation. I always tell him to pray in his heart.

Tmr is your special day! Relax, hv a good relaxing time, eat dinner early & early bedtime.

Oh no, definitely not stressed or worried over it. Afterall, PSLE is still based on T-score and not raw marks. Just curious for ownself how SEAB will set the papers this year.

P6s…you have prepared for this exam since the beginning of the year. Calm your nerves and tell yourself you can do it. All the best. After 2moro’s exam, move on and don’t dwell on what is already over.
