Thank you myteapot, Gangjiongspider & ksraja69. :thankyou:

Yes, indeed, am proud of him. I shld admit, tho there are trying times with him esp he gets 'bored' easily so hv to find ALOT of constructive stuff to occupy his time. Ano is when he \"thinks out of box\", so must guide him coz some things maybe I'm just not used to but he's always different. I'm like in a bind - s'times celebrate that he can generate new ideas & create new things but s'times things don't work out that way esp when it's safety issues, etc. Generally, thankful & grateful he's what he's created to be. Just hv to keep an eye & guide.

DS had his glasses brushed off to the floor & broke the bridge by his classmate just before one SA2. Coincidentally, I was just briefing him after dinner, to relax & be calm no matter what happens as life can be unpredictable. Anyway, as adults we've to handle whatever life bounce to us & fortunately DS said he rmbr'd my warnings & didn't spend time fussing over it tho teacher asked if he wants more time for his paper. He said he just calm himself told his classmate accidents do happen & held on to his glasses with one hand while writing with the other. Que Sera Sera, he made the other boy less guilty & I was proud how he handled himself. His grades turn out as good as he had always been doing.

Must prepare our kids to take things st strike & no be anxious or panic in every situation. I always tell him to pray in his heart.

Tmr is your special day! Relax, hv a good relaxing time, eat dinner early & early bedtime.

All the best to all PSLE students!

Even for adults, spectacles incidents can be :nailbite: especially if no spare is available. Well done to your son in handling this situation, he has shown so much maturity 😄 .

Oh! Mine also accidentally brushed hers off and broke during prelims! She went to buy scotch tape at the bookshop to fix it back during recess on her own, she was pretty calm about it. But I think it affected her prelims performance - she got her first question after that wrong due to \"careless\" - added a unit sign when the answer already has a unit sign (so kenna minus 1 mark), cannot see properly....

So now, I make sure she brings her spare in her bag!! :xedfingers:

my friend told me her daughter’s glasses had to break the day before psle…it was perfectly alright all the while. strange things do happen. daughter brought 2 calculators for her psle…hubby checked all the functions the night before and also changed to a new set of batteries. she also managed to get another sticker for a spare calculator (courtesy of her gor gor).

Aiyo, now I so scared, everything also prepared double or triple (even quadruple), like 3 calculators, 2 rulers, 2 erasers, 2 correction tapes plus refills, ++ pens and pencils, spare glasses, extra tissue pack, etc. etc. I wonder what else I need to prepare double or more.... :scratchhead:

Bring a jacket. Some schools will turn on the air con if they are taking the exam in the school hall.
                  :rahrah: 加油 to all P6s!

Don't forget student card and mathematical instruments for math (ruler/set squares/protractor).

Also remember to ensure all 2B pencils are sharpened.

Extra set of mathematical instrument. Last year got 1 mummy shared that an invigilator took 1 child’'s protractor and pass it to another student, resulted in the poor child without a protractor to use.
