My DS fell sick yesterday with bad throat infection and fever. We went to see a doctor and was given MC and doctor's memo. However, he did sit for his paper today but still not sure if he is able to go for tomorrow. According to school teacher, we can submit MC even for today if he sit for his paper. His marks will be moderated due to the fact that he is unwell, BUT, when he collect his PSLE certificate, there will be a clause stating \"Special considerations are granted (Something like that)\".... Will this penalise his chance of school posting?

Mummy and Daddy, any advice? Should I submit the MC???? I am so confused now. He did came back today telling me he is not very confident of his paper 2. Is Paper 2 very challenging?

if your ds does not feel unwell, my advise is that just submit the mc, it will not affect his school posting. according to my dd she said that paper 2 is slightly challenging.

What Happens if your Child Falls Sick During PSLE?
              http://www.cheekiemonkie.net/2017/10/what-happens-if-your-child-falls-sick.html?m=1

Submitting MC shouldn't affect the school posting.

Hope your child gets better soon and all the best. :xedfingers:

I'm so sorry this happened to your DS.

Reassure him it'll not affect his posting. Hand in MC.

Meantime, if u hv Manuka Honey with at least UMF5, give him a spoonful (use no -metallic spoon) in a cup with warm water (not hot). To be more effective, squeeze a slice of lemon juice (kids don't like sour juices, so tahan abit). Keep him indoors.

Pls give him extra hugs so he's not so anxious.

Kay22, Suggest that your DS rest now and not to squeeze in any more revision. Praying for speedy healing on your DS in Jesus name!

Thank you mummy/daddy who replied to my message. We shall observe my DS tonight and see if he is fit to sit for his Science paper tomorrow. keeping my fingers crossed :xedfingers: He is resting now and don't think we will even want him to revise anymore. Whatever he needs to know, he should know by now. 😓
