How's Paper 2? -
Paper 1 is indeed very tough. My DD said so. But she said(quite happily) that Paper 2 was pretty simple, with only a few difficult questions. She did not know how to do Question 13, something about Gopal and Henry…

ds said that questions style usually tested in paper 2 came up in paper 1… paper 2 was considered easy

so they might have kinda skewed the difficulties for the Paper 1 so that lesser will score full, and test the abilities in paper 2 to get a true sensing of who can really work out the problems… the weaker ones will struggle to score since they don’t have paper 1 to help them… can only hope if they needed to ‘tikam’, they tikam correctly…

oh! then it sounds like the kids had some form of practice at paper 1 before they took on the paper 2? hopefully the kids can link up the concepts for regurgitation. -
DD said Paper 1 was rather difficult. She said that 2016 PSLE Paper 2 was much much easier than this year's.(she got 58/60, Math isn't her forte) Hopefully there would be some moderation because she said even top in math students found it pretty challenging. What can we do? It's in the past. Now time to target MT and Sci. Best of luck to the P6 kiddos! :rahrah:
