Short reply: nope. Long reply: none of the kindergartens/preschools in Singapore have priority entry into primary school (assuming that’s your definition of "affiliation")

I enrolled my baby to Far Eastern Kindergarten for PN class and will commence Jan 2017.
Me and my hubby did the school tour before we decided to enroll my baby.

We just fall in love with the school. The building of course not as nice as st james but it does not really matter for me and my husband.
But the reviews are very good, so the quality of teaching, the teachers are as good as SJCK i believe. It is just that FEK is a small kindergarten with normal building and SJCK with the big nice building and big outdoor playground.

We saw how the kids interact with other kids from other level and it is very lovely, the help each other. The big one gave in to the small one.
But when i went to forum kidz station indoor playground, my son is the smallest one, others are more bigger and some of them just can't let my son use the ball or bicycle, they don't play with it anymore but won't let my son play with that either. My apologize but i can see that the kidz from rich family.

So i'm very happy with the kidz at FEK and i enrolled my son straight away.

Hi my son is registered for N2 (AM) in 2016 at BRMCK. I didn't queue but just walk in so does it mean the kindy is not as popular as before? Since they entertained a walk-in at this time of the year and there is vacancies for following year?


I am new in the Novena estate so I haven't explore all the kindy. Is BRMCK better than Learning Vision at Gentle Road and KiddiWinkie and NAFA? What other kindy should I consider? Thanks

Hihi Which class is ur child in? Mine is in N2 PM. Likely as most N1 2015 kids progress naturally to N2 2016, so you will hardly have folks who change at N2 level. My boy joined in Oct 2015 and I walked in too, however only PM slots were available at that time.

My girl is in N2/ PM (afternoon) class in BRMCK 2017. The school bus picks her up at 10:30am for the class starts at 12pm, which is very tired for her. I’m looking for any driving parent in Bukit Timah Rd area with children in PM (afternoon) class at BRMCK 2017 who she could go together ( with a fee :-)) or any other bus service. If your child in other BRMCK Enrichments (3:15 to 4:15pm) any day is also ok. Pls pm or SMS/Whatsapp me at eight one 89 eight nine 86. Appreciate your help!

Any comments and feedback which will be useful for me to consider enrolling in this kindy? I am looking at enrolling my girl for N1 in 2018. I am considering between Newton Kindergarten, Marymount Kindergarten or Baker Road Methodist Church Kindergarten.

Hi I use the pedestrian pathway next to Newton Kindergarten almost daily. And I can always overhear the teachers scolding the kids for small minor things.


My own child went to BRMCK. Do u have some specific qns about the school? U can pm me if u prefer.

Hi everyone! Trying to decide between BRMCK, St James (Gilstead) and Far Eastern. All 3 seem to have its pros and areas of improvement. Any 2018 advice/feedback to share of your experience with BRMCK and why you’re happy/not happy with the school? Would appreciate any feedback! thanks in advance.
