O-level Panic/Last Min Preparation Thread

My boy only attended one for maths and one for English. The math one was a big group, so so lah I feel. It's good for an intensive 1 day revision. But the English one that my son went to was a small group of 5 students. The English one was much better because the teacher got some secret info and strategies to teach for O-level English.
Are there any small group workshops for Chem and English? I can't seem to find any. I only saw the big ones from the big tuition chains but I don't really trust them....rosemaryherb:
haha mine was quite relaxed~~~until last week when his daddy gave a pep talk. Maybe you should do that to?
Yes, I feel O-level seminars are good but don't go for the ones where there are like 50 pax or more in the workshop. Those large groups really won't allow the students to ask questions for their final touch-up. -

What an insult to that person? Why would extra sessions be termed as ‘secret’ revision lessons?
It’s alarming for service providers to display such behaviour. -
I would give people the benefit of doubt for reading something inaccurately.

Ah this is the one conducted in Toa Payoh by Ms Felicia...my daughter and nephews joined her English crash course last year and now in her tuition for A-level GP. Yes, the crash course was helpful since she went thru markers reports/comments that r 'secret' which I think some posters here r talking about. Not all school teachers go thru such reports. Maybe they r not allowed to? I know my daughter's school teacher didn't, luckily she still got A1 for English.Here's the contact...not sure if you could find a place since it's always fully booked

IMO, for last minute preparation, attending seminars and workshops are good. Still, I only sent my child to the English seminar conducted by Ms Felicia in small groups. Still looking for similar small group workshops for Math. Anybody got any good recommendation?
