dd2 keep saying let’s go out to little india for Deepawali. i thought good idea too as they could see something different. but later of the day i told myself cannot la. must be very humid outside so let them watch tv and i had my muruku and a third can of beer to celebrate Deepawali.

DDs came back with cake from the birthday party next door on their faces.Apparently,they have been cake fighting… -
We were there today. It was indeed pretty hot! We hid in Mustafa and City Square Mall. The boys had a good shopping spree today and a nice Indian meal as well as pancakes at Paddington.

Is it very crowded there?I don't really go out during PH as I dont really like big crowds. -
Ok la. Squeeze a bit. Ok overall. I think better than expected. My kids enjoyed themselves.
We had Sarawak Noodles on TOP of Indian food and pancakes for lunch and dinner. It was nice.
It took us 2 hours to comb through all the snacks at Mustafa! NTUC is like no fight!
I think not as crowded as CNY. CNY is like crazy! -
Hubby wanted to drive through little India...told him I am not up to it nor have any mood to see so many people. He's really a little nuts...I have been unwell the whole day and he wants to see little India. :mad:

Another day I will go there on my own in the mornings. Still have many levels haven’t explored cos the food area was huge so no time to go to other areas.

Maybe you can ask him to drive you to more natural places?Remembered that DH drove me shady and cool areas in LCK when it got too hot and the crowds are overwhelming.I find that such ulu places are more peaceful.
