      T-shirt and jeans are easy.

DD refused to wear any dresses or skirts at one point. She does wear shorts and sleeveless though. All her clothes were black, black, black. She is still partial towards black but slowly experimenting with other colours now. She is also now more receptive towards dresses and skirts.

There was an awkward period too. Where she is neither here not there. At that stage, no choice, will look a bit sloppy. I find boyfriend jeans are forgiving.

DD shops at Factorie, Cotton On, Uniqlo, H&M, Stradivarious.

It is a phase that they go through.

My 11-yr old is rather small built. She chooses her own clothes nowadays. She likes pull and bear, H&M, Bershka, cotton on. These shops stock size 4 and size 6, which fit her nicely.

Bugis village is her new found love. The ‘free size’ tops are rather small, so ithey fit her fine.

My elder child is less adventurous. She sticks to mostly t-shirts and shorts. No jeans for her. Bought a few dresses and skirts, but she hardly wears them a second time.

My girl wears T-shirt or blouse with shorts or jeans or culottes (looks like short flare skirt or pleated skirt but with shorts inside).

Jeans were bought last US trip from Levis and Espirit. Shorts from Espirit, Cotton on, etc. Culottes mainly plain colours from Bugis.

Mine likes to wear tee and jeans too. Maybe this is the trend among the teens now.

My girls wear Adidas from top to bottom because DH’s amateur soccer team is sponsored by them for the next 3 years. He also buys clothes from Uniqlo,H & M and clothes ordered online from England for them as well.

I prefer to wear Nike though.More stylish and don’t really like the 3 stripes.
