I think that's the reason why most children tend to throw tantrum at their mummies rather than daddies. Mummies ε₯½ζ¬Ίθ΄!Wow auntieM, jedamum and sleepy...

I choose to disagree... cause i was raised by an extremely patient father.
My mother was the impatient one..
So, it varies from one household
to another and varies from the varying characteristics of men. I think,
blanket sweeping that only mummy has patience is not a fair one
esp to some of the good men out there lar.. niwae that's just me.
Having said that, in our household now with the children... i'm definitely
the more patient one. Not just patient with the children... :politebleah: but also
with him and the whole in-law group in the house..

Exactly!! Most of the time, Mummies are the \"shelter\" for their children. :snuggles:

Well... perhaps due to the growing stress of today's economy, daddies are not as patient as those decades ago. My dad was also a patient father. Tats y we have SAHM but rarely SAHD.kids_r_innocent:

I have had the pleasure of knowing a few SAHDs and they put some ofWell... perhaps due to the growing stress of today's economy, daddies are not as patient as those decades ago. My dad was also a patient father. Tats y we have SAHM but rarely SAHD.
us SAHMs to shame honestly.. with their patience, their time
spent on research into children's education, their housekeeping
standards  ... and for a few of them, even their cooking
skills. :salute:
These daddies are the ones who pause.. take a step back; especially
with the growing stress of the current gobalisation process.. to smell
the roses and focus on what really matters to them. They do not want
to miss out on the joys of being a parent to their children what more
with the challenges of child raising in today's context with overwhelming
media influences and what nots.. These are the daddies who tell them-
selves they want to be THAT role model for their children... THAT parent
who has helped mould their childrens' lives.
If mommies can be content without the 5Cs and all that paper chase...
perhaps more daddies would be more open to be even more involved
in raising children... cos these are the kinda things these SAHDs share
with me. They have understanding spouses who share similar views
when it comes to what they want for their children. Most of the SAHDs i
know believe in the importance of family values and close family ties...
they have strong belief in religion (of their respective faiths)... and most
importantly, they believe that it is not enough that children these days
grow up strong and smart... but the challenge is raising children with
EQ... raising them with character. A few are well off ones who can do
without that full-time job or have businesses on the side while the rest
choose to live simply and are still happy.
A few of them are still doing
some work on the side so as not to be out-touch-of their relevant line
of work, their main priority is still the children. Sweet isn't it? :please:kids_r_innocent:
No worries. While you're sharing yours... i too am sharing mine. :hugs:Hee... anyway it's juz my personal opinion.

I believe in two sides of the coin.
So, since i had acquaintance
with some SAHDs... just thought to share their unspoken views with all.
