Hi, any dear parents can recommend a good science enrichment/tuition class for lower secondary? My boy (sec 1 this year) just gotten back the EOY papers. He didn’t do too well for science. We think he may need some help for the subject.

I understand that the whole cohort didnt do well. My DS’ class, only 5 got 3.6 and 1 got 4.0.

Hi Steadyberry, your ds is in which Year? My ds is in Year 3 and the difficulty level for the EOY exams is really unlike any other previous years, for all subjects, esp for Math and Science and even HMT! They have really up the standard! 10 failed the Math 2 paper in ds class :shock:

My ds & blue dolphine’s ds is in year 1 only. Think same for bridesept.

Our eoy math & sci is tough too. Much more difficult than 2016 & 2015.

My DS ( year 1) also not doing well in sci this time. He told me whole cohort didn’t do well. No one get 4.0 in his class. Was wander how others class result especially the gep classes …

My DS year 1 this year. Also didn’t do well for year end exam. Appreciate feedback from the experienced parents here.


(1). The materials from class and library is quite limited. Asking parent here if there is any supplement materials I can get for my DS in year 2?
(2). May I ask private tuition is better or go for reputable tuition centre is better choice? Appreciate your experience sharing here.
(3). Can you share your source to buy/obtain extra IP materials and past year exam papers?
