Looks like most of SAHM duties are almost the same. Hope we can explore abit more stuffs when we have more free time 🙂

SAHM duties are similar...housework like cooking, washing, ironing, tidying up. i have to wash the fan cover and blades soon.

I wanted to do it too but DH banned me from doing all housework because I am carrying his precious daughters.I was told to just homeschool both DDs.

He does everything gleefully and joyfully by himself.

DH will consider whether to send the girls to Australia for 5 weeks after their orientation next week.He also thinks it is a good idea for them to experience farm life like helping to collect eggs, milk the cows and also let his mom coach them in Chinese.

When I was a SAHM and DS finally went to school for 7 hours straight, these are the things I did:

        - finally catch up on my sleeeeeeeeeeep!
        - meet up with fellow SAHMs for breakfast!
        - started an exercise regime to get back in shape: used my ActiveSG credits to try out Aerobics and Pilates classes. Also found like-minded SAHMs to jog together in Botanic Gardens
        - started reading all those books on my to-read list uninterrupted
        - started a baking hobby (bread, cakes, muffins, mooncakes etc)
        - went for massage/facial/mani-pedi to feel better and look less frumpy
        - spent meditation time thinking about what new things I could learn, what makes me feel fulfilled, what is my aim in life. With a young kid always tied to your apron strings, it’s hard for us mums to consider anything or anyone besides our precious kids. After they go to school and are out of your hair, you may feel some "at a loss" feelings, but soon you will be recharged and regain your sense of identity apart from "mum".

the housework i hate doing is cleaning table top/tv tops and windows.
hanging up wet laundry is what i find enjoyable.

it's raining here. do be prepared for flash floods if you're going out. hopefully the MRT tunnels don't get flooded.

I hate vacuuming and mopping.Thankfully DH took over everything for the last 3 months on the reason that I can't move around a lot.

I was told to rest and not move more.

Ahh,this kind of weather is very relaxing.Felt sorry for my sis and DH who had to go to school and work.

Did the rain just continue from last night?

                        Drive and walk safely.

Look out for falling tree branches.
