      MyPillow:
      zac's mum:

When I was a SAHM and DS finally went to school for 7 hours straight, these are the things I did:

      - finally catch up on my sleeeeeeeeeeep!
      - meet up with fellow SAHMs for breakfast!
      - started an exercise regime to get back in shape: used my ActiveSG credits to try out Aerobics and Pilates classes. Also found like-minded SAHMs to jog together in Botanic Gardens
      - started reading all those books on my to-read list *uninterrupted*
      - started a baking hobby (bread, cakes, muffins, mooncakes etc)
      - went for massage/facial/mani-pedi to feel better and look less frumpy
      - spent meditation time thinking about what new things I could learn, what makes me feel fulfilled, what is my aim in life. With a young kid always tied to your apron strings, it's hard for us mums to consider anything or anyone besides our precious kids. After they go to school and are out of your hair, you may feel some \"at a loss\" feelings, but soon you will be recharged and regain your sense of identity apart from \"mum\".

so can i assume u return to work in the end?
SAHM handling one kid only maybe a bit boring when child grows bigger and busy with their sch activities

Yes I'm doing part time work now. Headhunted back by an ex-colleague who was promoted. My request was that I only work part time hours that do not interfere with my DS' schedule. And they agreed. So I'm very happy now. Brain fulfilled and still can be an involved mum.

In fact, I finished work early today. Managed to buy sushi from Cold Storage for our lunch together before sending him to enrichment class later.

Yes, I seldom sick and yet have a bad cough
I visited the BB Polyclinic just now. The time in the consultation room was <1 min. I told the doc that my phlegm was green. She said the colour didn’t matter as long as there is no blood
              I was like :stupid:

My DD2 ate too much mangoes and now have sore throat.Weather very unpredictable nowadays.

What DDs and DH did not know is that I still have 2 more pieces of Keitt mangoes stashed away in the fridge because my MIL brought them freshly picked from her backyard back in Australia.

Hi,Janet...no wonder I seldom see you here during the last few days.

DH also cannot eat too much mangoes and durians. He got 3 days MC when he ate 3 mangoes the last time round.

He is well enough today to go on a food errand 15 mins ago.I dunno why but I kept craving for salad prawns and San Lao hor fun from Melben.

Just sent DH to get some satay and carrot cake from ABC Market.

Do you guys send your DH to tabao regularly during your pregnancy?I find that he tabao for me at least 3 times a week.

The girls were quite excited to learn that they are flying to Australia next Saturday morning to work as farm hands.

touch wood…so far I dont notice any big diff if we were to eat mangoes, durian, grapes etc.

yes ST, I also just discovered that greenish phlegm is not what we always thought that it is getting more serious…but we know our own body better…if start to feel ‘asthmatic’ better go easy with our body.

i guess I was lucky as I dont have any particular cravings during pregnancy. Everything as usual. With dd1, tummy not big so dont feel much diff from usual self but more clumsy when with dd2.
