      Lenient mummy:

Hi all. May i know where to uy sch uniforms and textbooks? Thanks in advance.

In the school. On the registration day (next day after S1 posting result out) in Dec and around that week, the uniform vendor will come to school for several days. Can go to vendor's shop but I can't remember where is it. Information as well as booklist are inside the package received during registration.

The uniform vendor is \" In Trend Uniform\", can go to their website for details of where to get the school uniform beside NUSH in December.
The school bookshop is a Popular bookshop outlet, For MTL, NUSH high uses main stream textbooks, hence they are available in most Popular outlets in shopping malls. For maths and sciences, NUSH reference textbooks are all uni/ college titles. Only Popular outlet in NUSH and believe NUS & NTU bookshops carry them. However don't need to rush buying the maths and sciences textbooks. NUSH provide printed notes. You can actually download soft copies of the maths and sciences recommended textbooks from the internet. If you buy the hardcopies, the publishers provide passwords to access their respective internet resources. The need for Maths n Sciences depends on individual study method.

For 6 years in NUSH, DC only buy the MTL and 4 sciences textbooks.

      Hope above information are useful.

Any school restricitons like transitions glasses. Do students wear sch uniforms everyday even though they have PE on that day?

Yes, sch uniforms everyday. Change to PE attire for PE lesson, change back to sch uniform after that.

Just to add on that, currently, my Yr 1 kid wears formal school uniform on Mondays, rest of the days will be polo tee and Bermudas/long pants. If there is PE, he wears his PE attire inside.

              Hello parents!

I am a student (or soon to be graduated!!!) at NUS High, and am looking to sell off my textbooks at a lower price (since I no longer need them, oops).

              Titles include:

Singapore Mathematical Olympiads (Singapore Mathematical Society) 2008 to 2012

Glencoe Physics Principle & Problems (McGraw Hill). IIRC this was used in Y1-2.
College Physics by Young, 9th Edition (Pearson) – inclusive of 1 unused online access code. IIRC this text was used in Y3-4, but things may have changed.

              Campbell Biology 9th Edition (Pearson)
Biology Matters (Marshall Cavendish). This was our reference text in our lower years.
              AP Biology 2016 (McGraw Hill)

              AP Chemistry 2016 (McGraw Hill)

All About Geography Upper Secondary: Human Geog (Pearson)
All About Geography Upper Secondary: Physical Geog (Pearson)
Reading Tropical Maps 6th Edition (Pearson)

need to buy both, 1 long pants should be enough.
long pants is formal school uniform.

If DS would like to take up a 3rd language (probably Malay) as an elective module, does he need to apply through moelc upon release of psle result? Or just wait till registration day at nushigh?
