iFireFly, Y4 GradNite will be held at Safra Mt Faber this year. DS thinks the ticket is $40 but he is not sure. He said just pay at the door.

Thanks ngl2010.. Is your boy attending ?

JC2 Prom Nite will be held at ShangriLa Hotel. Ticket is $90+ (can't rem exact price as DS paid up quite some time ago).

We are counting down too - after today, she has 3 more this week, 1 next week, 2 the following week, and 1 more the week after! Very long-drawn-out!

            DS will be attending.

I just found out the exact price for the batch dinner is $42.50. It will be an 8-course dinner. And the boys have to pay in advance instead of at the door.

            When is JC2 Prom Nite?

I heard Aspen at Bugis has RI and RGS classes.

Indigo @ Novena has RI / RJC classes.

I heard Physics Cafe and Math Cafe @ Bishan are popular with IP students too.

                Thanks ifirefly n ngl2000 🙂

This morning’s circle line train fault must have affected a number of students who had to take the economics paper. Hopefully, those affected were not too flustered and were still able to do their best. Poor kids.

I have a son in RI and one in another IP school. I think both schools are stressful, and comparing notes with my other friends who have children in other schools, I can only conclude that students everywhere are stressed. It is how they manage the stress and how we as parents give our support that matter most. I must say RI teachers give a lot of support to the boys, and they have very systematic approach in helping their students through the course of the year. Their notes are quite comprehensive, and revision and practice papers are given timely to help the boys guage their progress. Parents are informed through sms of important information. This is in comparison with my experience of the other son in the other IP school.
