I’m joining as well as my gal taking psle this year and she’s struggling though her work was always good till p5, suddenly she was overwhelmed. This year, all the papers so far are not not so straightforward.

My son is already struggling now.

After 11 years, I’ll go thru PSLE again in 2020! Lots of changes since 2009.

Struggling at P5 is a common trend, due to the huge jump from P4 to P5. Exam formats will follow that of PSLE, and the syllabus is also much more demanding. Students may take months, or even up to a year to adjust. Use the time this holiday to brush up on weaker concepts. Jiayou!!! :rahrah:

on top of the huge jump, teachers are using PSLE standards to mark P5 exam scripts...every subject becomes much harder. use the year end holiday to brush up after giving them a short break. all the best.

Reporting. Has been a while since I last started this cycle for dd1… as of now, dd2 is still able to manage her studies without tuition. Hopefully she can keep it up til her turn comes.

All the best! 2018, 2019 will be the best time to build them up. Don’t wait till Dec 2019.

                        Hi parents,

I am a student who just finished A levels and currently tutoring some primary school students. Wish to understand more about the changes since my time(2011 PSLE) and assist in any query you may have. Thanks!
