Weirddad:
Huh? Meaning is like SAP is is like another academic subject, or like is like enrichment programme laidat?
Yes there is. 2 classes are offering 3 pure sci each yr.Edwz:
Heard Nan Chiau High is strong in sciences...
Does the school offer 3 pure sciences along with SAP Bi-cultural Programme?
The SAP Bi-cultural Programme is alongside all the subjects throughout the 4 yrs, so techinically it don't interfere with any of the subject combi.

:o[/quote]I would say its leaning more towards an enrichment for us bah. Is abit like part of the curriculum (u can visualise it like the academic modules in uni (shd b a close resemblance), so Bicultural prog modules are slotted along with the \"core\" modules). So last time our time table had dedicated slots for CI (aka cultural intelligence) lessons such as ไธญๅๆๅๅฒ็ฅ...(Not the kind of boring lectures. Is quite project based)
In year 1 and 2 we will go thru most of the stuffs including ๅ่ถ, appreciating literary works (my batch got to view 2 Chinese literary works ใๅฐ็ฝ่นใandใ้ฉฌ่ฏใ), making traditional name stamps...
At yr 3, the programmes will be more personalised (so basically u get to choose the programmes u want to join, as long u meet the reapective requirements of the programmes). The sch would also reach out to us for intern and comp opportunities.
For me I was in sci talent programme so I did NYP research and went for the SAP-Shanghai Science symposium with frenz fm 7 other SAP schs. (There was another sci symposium trip to Kyoto but I chose Shanghai coz get to interact with other SAP sci students).
If not wrong thr is a SAP Bi-cultural Scholarship by Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan that we can apply. If sucessful the scholarship will cover all the costs for any sch immersion trips (think also cover external enrichments, forgot alrd)
I graduated 4 yrs ago so not sure whether the programme had changed haha. U can ask the chers during the openhouse tmr.

Honestly I am quite impressed by the school myself. They are very independent and self-motivated. Chatted with a student at the CCA booth (he is a Sec 2, not holding any leadership position), and what impressed me is his attitude, saying that we won't go far if we expect someone to spoon feed us, we must prove to ourselves that we are capable to do well.
Can sense the students are very warmhearted, some of them even offered to guide us around the campus (they are not appointed councillors, just dat they were off-duty from their CCA booths). Think my sis would have felt the same way too.

Anw can see fm here that there is a balance between the Arts ,SAP and the Sciences, since ALP is whole level thing.
