The school strongly suggest students to go for the ip track if yr kid can make it. The avg Mark per subject must be at least 70 and above before they consider u for ip track

According to my nephew who was selected for IP in sec 2 a couple of years back, criteria is that min 70% is required for the core subjects, namely, Eng, Sci, Math and 1 humanities. The rest of the subjects such as HMT, MT, D&T, etc need not be at least 70%.

DS scored 247. Wanted to know what 6 best options can we try.
So far first choice was
VS - O level
sji - o level.

An I right to assume he can’t apply for any IP.

Can anyone suggest any other good school?

According to MOE S1 book, O level may be higher chance.

My son will be applying to VS. Impressed by the students I met at the open house - very well-mannered young men. Very rare to hear teenagers address adults as sir and ma’am. Hope my son can get in.
