We highlighted to our helper not to take pictures of our house or family members using her phone and post them online. Our helper has not requested for free access to the Internet yet and we don’t think she has broken the rules. However, it will be difficult for you to monitor your helper’s social media usage as she’s been used to having free access. Have you spoken to her about the issue? She may not be aware of the dangers of posting such information online. You can share some stories with her to educate her about how to use social media safely. As a last resort, you may want to report the photos and posts with information about your family. She will then be requested to remove them.

If you are able to view her Facebook post, you can report it by clicking on the arrow on the top right corner. There will be prompts with options. If you choose the one stating that the post is annoying, Facebook will suggest that you block her. They will not remove the post. I suggest you choose the option that the post violates your intellectual property rights. In such cases, they may ask her to remove the photo.

The same for Instagram, there is a function on the top right corner for you to report the picture she’s posted.

                Need some advice

I currently have a filipino helper, her housekeeping so-so & cooking acceptable. we have 4 kids one of them is 1.5yrs so as its a busy household, I usually close one eye when cleaning is not up to par.. I also train my older kids to do simple chores like wipe tables after meal or help take out dishes etc.

my toddler goes to CC so the only super busy day is Sat for her as she's off every Sun. she often says she treats my kids like her own. when baby is at CC, sometimes she will help my kid learn spelling fr school.

anyways, some time back her passport was due to be renewed n i agreed to renew provided she renewed her contract with me when the time comes. She agreed.
however, just 2 wks back, we all went on a holiday. she was not happy with the hotel sleeping arrangement, aircon too cold she complained she was freezing and in her unhappiness she sent me a msg in middle of the night telling me not to bring her overseas for holiday if I cannot provide her needs. the next morning, she apologised for the msg and I told her nvm just move on... taking it tt she type it in anger.
However I noticed that when baby wakes up in morning ard 630am, she remained asleep... i will hve to wake up n make milk n entertain bb till she wakes up... 😞 then she gives black face every now n then thruout the holiday, feel so sian!

Now tt we are bk in Sg, my patience is abit short--she wakes up later than me. I would already have made milk for the bb and quire a few times changed/bathed the baby and gotten him ready for CC before she is awake.
Tell her to help do certain housework--black face
it's affecting me n my holiday/family time ...feel v lousy. and i feel angry that I allow my emotions to be affected!

her contract is up in Feb 2018. I don't want to see her mood swings n black face. however I do see slivers of time she is v affectionate to my kids. n of course the hassle and cost of getting another hrlper again.
I m in a dilemma if I should renew contract with her or not. :?:

                  Hi clioclio

If you renew her you need to think through if you are willing to tolerate her attitude.

During her home leave you still need to look after your own kids yourself during her absence.

Failure to wake up on time to attend to baby’s needs need to talk to her about it.

She could be feeling holiday mood since two months plus later she going back home.

My maid always forgot to wash the baby bottle either, maybe the baby bottle is not easy to clean cause which relates to the health of baby. Since I have got the baby bottle brush and told her the way to use, she won`t forget again, I think the set of https://www.cfone.net/how-to-make-baby-bottle-sparkling-clean.html helps me a lot, cause my maid told me she can wash the baby bottles easily with the different sizes of sponges and strew brushes, she advised me that also can be used to clean many kinds of daily bottles, I think she`s right.
