May I know how is the standard of revision of the school.. Something like Mon to Fri to study as if it is a school term?

My DS tch gave a sample timetable. It is a guide the kids can follow. Each day 2hrs of revisiin fir each subject. In between these 2hrs session, they hv meal times, TV time and reading time. It even states the total time for the activities. 8h - Revision, 6.5h - Rest time and 9.5h - sleep time. So their day starts at 8.30am and ends at 11pm 🀷

The topics for Sci are stated for each week - Pri 3 to Pri 5.
The timetable does not take into consideration vacation time overseas. So the kids are expected to revise everyday during the hols :slapshead:

      :yikes: :faint: child abuse πŸ˜‚

                  nadine,

the teacher gave a very detailed revision plan.
everything is covered from lower block…it’s very systematic and yet not stressful for the child.

I have been adopting R&R attitude toward this Parents Sweating Laborious Exam.

So I can be a cool mum :imcool: Reading all the posts by parents here somehow alleviating my guilt. It likes a spank in my head to wake up. :heresmyfish: Now need to see how to slowly blend everything together.... Noting the efforts parents here had made, look like i need a super blender quickly.

Janet, the child has to start studying from 8.30am till 11pm, 8hrs a day from Mon to Friday for 4 consecutive weeks. I doubt many can do that.

Some Sc topics are much longer while some topics are relatively easier and shorter. One can combine 2 short topics in a day. From my own experience, we managed to cover all within 3 weeks. But prior to that, I have already sent quite bit of time on the P6 topics.

Do note that in a PSLE paper, P6 topics hold more weightage than P3 topics.
