Hi Jennifer,
In what ways is Greenpan lousy? I heard it loses its nonstick capabilities after a while. Did this happen to your pan? -

Robinson has both ScanPan and GreenPan demo booth. Most times, a representative will be there. U can check out both pans.
Try to buy during Robinson sale, esp if u hv Robinson card, the discount can be up to 20% + 10%, very value for money. -
Thanks Jennifer!

I have both Greenpan and Scanpan. I also traded in my old frying pan during one of their promo and had pretty good discount to purchase my Scanpan non-stick. I think they call it the Classic (Ceramic Titanium) , made in Denmark. Paid about $90 for a 26 cm .
I am not very impressed with Scanpan to be honest. The non-stick doesn’t last very long even though I used it with care. After about 6 months I could see that it is wearing out very quickly even though I used it about 2-3 times a week at most. Greenpan is cheaper and pretty good so far.
If you read about the review on Scanpan non-stick frying pan, the comments are rather mixed. I am not convinced that it performs much better than other brand of non-stick. I also have a Happy Call diamond series non-stick wok which works better than the Scanpan. -

I bou my sauté pan before the GSS, using it almost daily. I find it esp good for frying fish, tofu, eggs, dumplings as well as sautéing mushrooms, tomato sauce and cooking the lasagne fillings. It has bn 5 mths now, the non-stick coating still working fine.I have both Greenpan and Scanpan.
