      Two pieces:
Definitely hardworks from teachers! Next year we shall see the performance under new P. No AS little step up program how to produce good result? Be realistic.

It is important for parents in p5 and p6 to step up. The children with all abilities used to have additional classes to push them along. With the removal, it just seems so risky, leaving the kids with so much time. I fully agree that the results for psle 2017 goes to the previous P.

Other than the other changes made,.the p6 grad party & announcement of those in the 25X range/ top 10 performer wasn't done well. Other schools celebrated for the kids with pics taken etc. Ours seemed to be just a norm...

I really hope PCPS results and reputation doesn't go down the drain with the many years of history built up. I have a younger one there now and I am hoping he can perform as well as my elder one.

For p6 parents in the 24* and 25* range, which are the sec schools that you are looking at to send your kids? I am still looking at my list.

          love1001:
Thank you xman0808. I wonder how easy or how tough it is to get an average of 75% in P5. I am prepared for a 10% drop, hopefully no more than that.

heard SA1 expected to drop 10-20 marks, but by SA2 kids will get used to it and back to normal. Lets see if its true.

I have Cath High and Maris in my list too. Chung Cheng High is a good sch and I heard many PCPS kids like to go there, but it is quite far.

Yes, all parents of P5/6 need to step up. I am also not sure why the graduation ceremony was also scraped. My boy and his classmates were all very disappointed.

Distance and travelling time are my biggest concern. Many PCPS students like this school as well as Dunman. We might end up putting MS as 2nd choice.

Same, I keep swopping my choices around and question if it is the correct choice. I am very concerned on distance and traveling time too. Your choice 5 & 6 are just indicated for fear the front of the schools don’t meet right?

minmin27, choice 5 & 6 are indeed just for backup, just in case. I think most likely my boy will end up in MS or CCH.

What about CHS? His score just meets COP or differs slightly. If yes, I am in the same dilemma as you, thinking if I should try a school with scores of 1 or 2 pointer more.
