Hi, my daughter is concidering to go to Dunman High and she wants to cycle to school.

1.May I know is there any bicycle parking areas in the school?
2.Btw, is there any school buses for them in the morning? We live near Boon Keng MRT station.
3.Could anyone kindly provide pros and cons of the school? Thanks!

My DD said she didn't think there's a designated parking area for bicycles inside the campus.

Hi, I am considering to place my son in Dunman. I understand that this is an IP school & it is very competitive. In the event if my son does not do well in IP route, can he switch to do O levels instead but remain in Dunman? At which level can he switch? Sec 2, 3 or 4?

Yes there is 'O' level class. Streaming is done at the end of year 2. Not sure if IP students in year 3 can still go to 'O' level class if he/she cannot meet IP promotion criteria at the end of the year. More likely, he/she will have to repeat year 3.

Does that mean at year 2, they will know whether or not they are taking the O levels route or continuing with IP programme? How many O levels classes are there in year 3 & 4? Thanks in advance for sharing.

Yes at the end of year 2, they will know. Generally those who score below 60 marks on average (roughly translated into 2.4 GPA under school's grading system) will be streamed to 'O' level class.

All CCAs are strong in DHS. For performing arts it will be Chinese Orchestra. Not sure about sports but always hearing morning announcements about winnings from Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Table Tennis... Clubs and Societies Robotics is quite good.

Is it true that IP is busy lifestyle with lots of project deadlines? Does it eat up weekends, late weekdays?
