RGS do not have open house after the PSLE results out. The open house is only during May period annually. -

Hi, Parents, I understand that Y2 students will be tested on both Y1 and Y2 contents for science in Y2 EYA. How about other subjects, e.g. Geography and History? Will they be tested on both Y1 and Y2 contents in Y2 EYAs? Thank you in advance!
nope! humanities usually will not be tested again. from my experience in rgs for the past 3 years, in the EYAs, they will usually be tested the year's worth of curriculum or the semester's/topic's worth only!

Hello, i’m a P6 student. I have put RGS as my first choice although i’m not sure whether the COP would increase? I’m thinking about taking third language, but I can tell decide between Japanese and Malay? Anyone have any advice? Also, about the RGS MEP Programme, is here any auditions, interviews? Any kind RGS student or parent would like to help? Thank you!!

I have chosen Malay as a third language in the end! If i’m not wrong, RGS has in house Malay special programme. This means that your DD does not need to travel to language centres for third language lessons after school hours. Thinking of putting Japanese 1st choice now, later if accepted into RSP programme in sec1, then Can switch to RSP+MSP better

Does anyone know the literature books used in Yr 1 ? My girl is joining RGS next yr. She can make use of Dec holidays to do some reading. TIA.

No special socks (just normal white ones are OK).
Name tags - order at the school book shop. Make sure you get the right colour as each year has a different colour. -
