Bibi & Baba also don't have all size, better call before you go.

You can ask them to let you know when the sizes come in. And you can go and try to see which sizes you need.

Thanks all. I wonder does anyone buy from other places rather than from these 2?

There may be small differences in details and colour (shades of white?) if you buy from elsewhere. My child is a girl, so the uniform is more unique. Maybe boys' uniforms are more generic?

For boys, there is a small Raffles label at the back pocket of the shorts and pants. I guess if you want to find an alternative, the alternative must also has the label with the same font and size. But maybe the school wonโ€™t check?

Btw, Bibi & Baba also has an office at Henderson. However, they only offer custom made there, which priced 50%-100% higher than off-the-shelves price.

There will be the Raffles Junior Investiture Ceremony in early Jan - shades of Hogwarts minus the Sorting Hat. ๐Ÿ˜„

Try not to miss it. Itโ€™s very memorable for parents & sons. Many mummies (and I bet some dads too) were teary at the end of the event. When the P or teacher pins the RI badge on your boy, that moment signifies that heโ€™s part of the Raffles family - past, present and future. Nice!

Sorry if this has been brought up in the 612 pages of this forum. My DS is heading to RI and is confused by the number of attires. :?:

The school uniform is pretty standard and self-explanatory. Are there RI socks that they have to purchase?

Then there are other attires weโ€™ve seen - Team Raffles black polo, multi-coloured t-shirts (house tees?), the green jersey-looking t-shirt, and the traditional PE attire. What are each for, and are there any others we need to buy?

Does he wear the PE attire on the first day?

                      Thank you!

RI socks - not a must
Black Team Raffles polo - can be worn on Fridays & other occasions with the white shorts/pants
House/coloured tee - to be worn for specified activities - sports day, inter-house games, etc.
Green jersey - not sure, i think it's for rugby/softball team
PE tee - to be worn with black PE shorts to be changed into on PE days (have to bring & change) & other specified activities

1st Day attire will be advised during registration day on 22 Dec. Iirc they have overnight camp on the first 3 days. So there will be a packing list. They boys will have a lot of fun! :imcool: :imcool:
