Any recommendations for art school? My dd is very interested in art but I sent her once to this art school for a few lessons. The teacher was so focused on the product that she kept pushing dd to finish quickly. Completely not what I think an art teacher should do.

          Hi all,

Anyone sends their kid(s) to Art BootCamp at Turf City?? Any updated information?

I had sent my son for a class there. It's very well run and I was amazed at my son's work at the end of the day. He did a self portrait. The only gripe, very very expensive.

            Thank you jessnom.

Have signed my DS up for a trial.

Will take it from there 😄

              Hi mummies

I would recommend Art Loft at 8Q which is located at the annexe to the Singapore Art Museum. This is one of the very few art schools that focuses on ALL aspects of art instead of just drawing. Their website is http://www.artloft.com.sg.

Hi. My four-year-old goes to Art Loft at 8Q. It suits him because he is exposed to different techniques and materials each week. It’s more expensive than Art Zone, which my six-year-old goes to. Art Zone is more focused on painting and drawing (pay extra for wood craft).

Can someone share what’s being taught at Artloft? My child’s with NAFA now, but am thinking of switching as their location(s) seemed abit tedious for us to travel to every wk…

                    Hi all,

If your little ones are keen to learn art, I more than happy to teach them.

I have taught art at secondary school level for ten years. I resigned to care for my two girls full time. Now that they are older, I am looking forward to teach on a free lance basis. You may view my portfolio at http://teomel.multiply.com which contains my paintings (acrylic, watercolour) my illustrations and graphic design work.

Pls kindly contact me via email if you are interested, Thanks!

My girl is turning 4 this year. I am thinking of sending her for art class. I have seen the artwork at GlobalArt and very impressed with their student works. But their course fee is very expensive.

Anyone have any recommendation? I am thinking of sending her to CC which is cheaper.

                      Any comments?

mum05, Hi. My four-year-old goes to Art Loft at 8Q. It suits him because he is exposed to different techniques and materials each week. They also visit the art galleries (since Art Loft is situated within SAM) and sometimes they go to other galleries nearby (Handy Road, Mt Sophia).
