No worries. Actually in the morning with throngs of students taking the MRT, it should be safe. Going home after CCA may be a different matter.

Yes, my exact thoughts too.. 😓

        Hi Parents,

Great work was done by the students of GMSS photography club. As posted on the school website.

My son will be joining Geylang Methodist School next year! Hope to find parents whose DS/DD will be joining the school too. Hope we can revive this thread. Start of an exciting journey!

My girl will be reporting to this school tomorrow too! My girl has a very good impression on this school coz it’s clean and spacious, and she said students there are called "GeMS" which will make her feel so precious… but both hubby and I hope we can appeal for other school that’s nearer to our house, we are not very excited for getting into this school though, she has to get up really early to get the public transport there for the next 4 years.

Went to the school for registration with my DS this morning. He’s going to be in Faith 1 -1 class. Found it very organised, completed buying books and uniforms, registration all within an hour. Students we met were very polite and provided useful information readily. Does the school have a higher proportion of girls than boys? Anyone knows the COP of the school this year?

Hope to meet more parents of the school in this forum!

                      Hi Ongy and Phyphy,

So glad to know that our boys will be in the same class!
Any idea what are the things they need to bring on the first day of school? From the schedule given, doesn’t look like they need to bring any books right?

                        Hi joyfulbliss, ongy,

Nice to know you through this forum. It’s great that our children are in the same class. Hope they will be good friends when time to come. :hugs:
I did ask the FT during the registration on the things to bring on first day. He asked me to check the school website b4 school starts. 😄
