Talking about CNY already? It’s not even 1 Jan yet! I don’t do much for CNY anyway, so I won’t get going with CNY-related stuff till about 1 week before.


This year, my younger girl will be working at a stall selling CNY snacks for 4 weeks leading up to CNY - maybe we’ll get a few freebies!

CNY already? i haven't thought so far...or maybe because my head is preoccupied with other matters.
kids have new clothes for CNY. hubby and i are not too bothered about it.

That's something we don't bother about too much. My older girl has a number of fairly new items which we bought after she ended her uniform-wearing days last year. And my younger girl will be doing the same soon. Myself - I don't care about new clothes. My husband may go get something for himself, but I leave that to him.

Buying new clothes is never a priority for my CNY.


I buy clothes as and when in the year.

My priority is the reunion dinner followed by the meals over the PHs.

i wear new clothes as and when...as long as no black and white, i am really casual. reunion dinner is at parents' place.

For CNY, typical dishes will be pencai, yusheng etc.

There is not much novelty for yusheng.

I am still recovering from Xmas and there is another round this weekend for New Year. Not ready to think about CNY yet.
