Kylene, if you really wants the tuition centre notes. I suggest you put your child to tuition centre. Otherwise get the original notes pass down from relatives or friends. I have a friend who gotten into trouble with the law on photostat notes from a couple of tuition centres (still in the midst of settling in the law suit). How she was caught.......I am not going into details. Tuition notes already stated - \"no part of this publication may be reproduced without the prior permission of xxxx\"


So I suggest parents, pls do not get yourself and your family into trouble of unnecessary kind.

Never sell yr originals. Trace fr there. Blank & share copies

Dont insists in getting originals or with names, u're partner to 'crime'.

If passing to relatives, it's not a crime. Don't think too much.

One year my frd, out of kindness, shared her child's materials with neighbor's kid who was weak in Sc fr this famous centre. She's a kind soul & did not realised shld blank out identities first.. They tried to initiate lawsuit against them but thankfully the neighbour, a lawyer, refuted as it was not commercial transaction. The famous centre had to back off.

Notice in the Garage Sales thread that after more than 12 months, you are still peddling some enrichment centres' notes of the same level(s).

May I know if you've been photocopying, i.e. reproducing copies of the original for commercial purposes?

These aren't the same as 'sharing' originals with your niece or neighbour.

小学的华文篇章其实多数并不是很难懂得，问题是学生需要三大能力才能破解文章内容：-

1）熟读小一到小六课文的所有词接下来就是汇、成语及虚词（词语熟悉能力）
2）过了词语关，接下来就是多读好作文
3）每天写一段。
Update: Do let them record their reading on ipad and check daily.
Reading seems to do better than copying as they had to recognize words when they read.

Should be quite hard to find the older ones esp. those 8-10 yrs ago but there are some from overlapping years and 2012-14 Science.

you may give a telephone call directly, to these 2 publishers (EPH and Shinglee) :-
check with them whether in their warehouse, still got any spare copy of old stock left, for PSLE past 3 years (2012 to 2014), for English / Maths / Science / Tamil or Malay (if this is your child's Mother tongue). Tell them u only need one copy, for your child.

Their staff can readily assess their online computer catalogue : check if still got any left-over old stock (if any)

These 2 publishers do not sell PSLE 10-year series, unlike O level. For PSLE, they only sell past 3 year series.

you can google yourself online, for telephone number(s) of publishers EPH / Shinglee.

Currently, at all Popular book branches, Popular only selling (2015 to 2017) past 3 years' series, at $4 per copy, & come together with answer key.

In some primary schools' bookshop(s) :
they are selling (2015 to 2017) series at $1 per copy, but without answer key, & they sell only to their current 2018 P6 own school students. You may check with your child's primary school, whether they selling any.


P6 CA1 coming soon, one week after Chinese New Year, in Feb. All the best, to your child.

My DS says there is no CA1 exam in his school and the school wants to give more time for teaching the subject and also next year they are merging to another school. dont know wat to do and whom to approach for this. because CA1 should be essential becos they need more tests to know their level and stands in order for them to face PSLE. please suggest how can i take it forward

CA1 is scheduled for Feb '18. That's in one month's time and is likely embedded in the school calendar. Don't think you can actually change anything now.

I think you'd be better off focusing on doing your own revisions/ testing rather than take on this battle.
