Cedar Girls Secondary School
-
Angry with my girl, just the third week of school, she misplaced her wallet after recess break yesterday, until today she couldn’t find it anywhere in the general office or prefects room. Worst off, she also lost her literature poetry book ‘little things’ which she left it under her classroom table on Tuesday. I’m wondering is there someone who steal her stuff, pardon me for saying that. She was using her wallet to buy food at the canteen but by 3.30pm before she leaves the school, she realized her wallet was no longer in her bag or pocket. This really upset me since this is a good school but what to do since it’s her own fault for being careless and not responsible enough to look after her own things.

Buying her a laptop and worrying what if she gonna lost the laptop. Makes me wonder why Apple MacBook don’t have AppleCare coverage for replacement in the event of lost or damage. But they have AppleCare lost and damage replacement for iphoneX…will be very heartpain if she lost a laptop next time.

Tyeogh, thanks for your very informative reply! I too fuss over how my girl shouldn't be lugging all that weight to school although I don't resort to the scales LOL so the Asus Vivo book is definitely calling out to me especially when their scale of schoolwork doesn't look like it would warrant getting a high end laptop as yet and also in view of the fact that the wifi coverage is not brilliant anyway. Thankfully, my girl is not fussy about the make of the laptop but she would definitely welcome a 'bantamweight' one, haha...unfortunately she would have to train up her muscles for the time being with our laptop until we get a new one so tough luck!
Thanks again for your advice.

Good thing about Apple is we can locate all the devices and can lock them if you need. -
Does Cedar provide a school bus shuttle transport once every week, after school (maybe pay $2 per trip, from Cedar to MOELC ), to students going MOELC (Bishan / Newton), to study 3rd language (Spanish / Japanese / French / German)?

No, they don't. My girl is learning Japanese and class for Cedar girls is on Thursday.
