      Hi tyeogh,

I'm new here so need advice on laptop too. We currently have a Lenovo G470 laptop at home but it is very heavy for my girl to bring to school, although it is more than capable of handling the work that would be required from school but due to the weight, I'm considering getting her a smaller one. I saw the Asus Vivo book you had bought on Q10 too but wasn't sure on its efficiency. So do you think it will suffice for the students to handle their assignments and projects? Which aspects of the Asus do not meet the schools requirements? My girl is in the O level stream too (1C) so if any mommies want to form a chat group would be most welcoming too .

      Thanks!
      Hi there,
I'm new here. My DD is also in 1C OLevel stream. I dont see many parents with DD in 1C.

For me, it isn't necessary. DD1 is busy enough with her school work and cca. When she is free, I encourage her to pursue other interests e.g ukelele, guitar, k pop etc. She volunteers in church which is great. She didn't get a 4.0 GPA. But I think she will have a richer sec school life. These are individual parenting choices, I suppose? So, if the assessment books are calling out to you, go for it 🙂
