      Hi CookiesMonster,

      Hi Emelyn,

Maybe our gals may be classmates next yr πŸ™‚

That will be great ! BTW, I also stay in the west, in Bt Batok, actually.
Unfortunately not in the same estate as you. Otherwise I can help send you dd to school in the morning. Cos, I work near the school.

Now, my headache is to find a student care centre for my dd. Either around St Nicks, or the student care that my ds2 goes to, but that's in Bt Panjang.

Hmm... looks like I'm travelling around singapore everyday !!

        Hi St Nicks mummies here,

I'm a former St Nicks girl and my elder daughter will be going to P1 next yr.

For St Nicks mummies who don't stay near the sch and drive your gals there, do share with me your experiences thus far..... driving your gal to sch in morning and picking them up after sch.

        Thanks a heap!
Hello, my girl is going to P1 next year and we are also considering St Nicks. Is P1 in morning session?

              Hi CookiesMonster,

My girl is going St Nicks P1 next yr. Am looking for a student care. Which BASC did your girl go to ?

              MTIA.

              Hi Emelyn,

I decided to be a SAHM instead.

Many parents choose to send their kids to Kebun Baru CC. There are alot of St Nick gers over there.

                Hi CookiesMonster,

St. Nicks P1 curriculum sure sounds heavier now.....Your current P1 gal in St Nicks usually finishes her day at what time everyday? Does she take her lunch in school?

Does St. Nicks P1 has lots of homework and presentation projects etc to complete? Know of one branded pri sch in East makes their P1 to do indiv presentation on 1 country and the score has bearing on their results. Ends up it's a parent's project. Wonder what purpose does it serve?
                1st bell ring at 7.20am
                flag raising at 7.25am
mon, wed, fri finished at 1.45pm
                tue & thu at 1.15pm

she doesn't take lunch in sch but i always pack extra for recess & after-sch snack.

lunch is packed on the way back or eat at hme.

individual presentation yes but on simple topic for english & chinese. they hv poem recitation. nt sure whether these are taken into acct bearing in mind p1 & p2 no exams.

relocation my ger not affected as she started p1 this yr but had to donate stuff like curtains as her classrm facing HDB block.

certain part of the old site has been demolished & i believed they are lookg into extending the bldgs.

though current site is small but with proper planning, most essential needs are taken care of.
