\"less teaching more learning\" in china means: the teacher will leave those untaught syllabus to the enrichment program/tuition centre.
the enrichment program / tuition centre are run by teachers themselves!!!
but situation is improved now.... after too many complaints, now tuition centres are banned if run by school teachers...(duno whether is true) -
sound similar in singapore
heard - don’t know true or not - some GEP sec sch ask the kids where they take tuition, what they were taught - and school teachers take the easy way out…
not suggesting that the teachers are the ones running the tuition centre
BUT, there are many teachers from the ‘elite’ school after making themselves well known, decide to set up their own tuition centre …can’t fault them i guess…change of business model -
