Do you need a yangqin? I have one in good condition…price negotiable.

I was told guzhen is more popular and easier. but it all depends on interest of the child. btw, all music instruments are quite expensive.

IMO: Use the ear to decide, not price.

That is because guzheng has less strings than yangqin hence less variation to remember. Also guzheng is played with the \"fingernails\" which kids have more control than the \"sticks (qing zu)\" the yangqin is played with.

DD has learnt yangqin for about 3 years - I am planning to buy a better grade yangqin for her as she progresses.

Anyone interested to buy a 2nd hand yangqin, pls PM me (It was brand new when I bought it 3 years ago - still have the receipt from the instruments shop). well maintained and tuned every 6 months.

                    Hi Oh My Gosh,

Where did you tune your yangqin?
Did the tuner come to your place?
What is the estimated price of tuning a yangqin?

                    Thanks!
