Not ship. I saw a documentary that indicates if they build a tunnel, ships calling at Port Klang can tpt goods thro over the east side to reach Philippines, Indo, Australia & New Zealand … Don’t limit ourselves with our imagination before such reality hits us. It’ll cut us off totally fr trade, making China’s ambitious plan alr linking to Europe becoming an expansive problem for trade to reach Spore.

Thailand seems like a clip bird now.

Think Spore still hv advantages in terms of its reputation as in Maritime Ports, its efficiency & ability to execute port & transportation infrastructure is strong. Our govt is strong & reliable for now till some rookie comes along opposing everything we have now. Planning ahead is certainly our strength too, which can’t be seen in our neighboring countries.

The only closest they get in improving their infrastructure is via the China Belt that connects most of European countries facilitating high speed transportation of ppl & goods - credit does not go to any other (country) except China’s Mr Xi. Tun can try to stall it & snub is, but if his countrymen do not mind trade don’t flow thro to benefit his country, then we’re suffering with M’sia. No one wish for Tun to do that. It’ll be lose-lose for both countries.

I’ve high hopes & impressed with Xi & was glad to know his Party supports him as it’s too big a proj to forgo & if well executed, Martime trade might be in the back burner. It’s a lot more efficient by Road!

Hoping for Tharman to awake & throw in to serve in an impt role. I'd then respect our politicians as having made personal sacrifices.

I would prefer Tharman as compared to the other one.....

I am hoping Tharman can stand in as PM instead of any other 4G ministers.

If Tun try to bend our arms for better deal or stall High Speed Rails, those who put in for investment ard JE will start feeling jittery.

All this talk about cancelling / postponing the HSR is BS lah. Read this article https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asia/hsr-wasted-opportunity-if-kl-singapore-high-speed-rail-cancelled-10198022 for an insight on why this is 肥肉 that no one will be willing to let go... it’s in the last paragraph:
The civil works for the HSR in Malaysia is expected to create about 70,000 jobs.

It is also expected to create about 5,000 sub-contract packages where 40 per cent in value will be allocated to Bumiputera companies.
When Tun threaten to postpone / cancel the project, he’s simply signaling that these jobs / sub-contract packages must go to his supporters / donors / cronies.

To seek a royal pardon for A. Otherwise, A would not be allowed to participate in future elections.
(n.b. Singapore has a similar clause in Article 45 of the Constitution - essentially, would not qualify to be an MP if one is convicted of an offence by a court of law in Singapore or Malaysia and sentenced to imprisonment for a term of not less than one year or to a fine of not less than $2,000 and has not received a free pardon)

Keyword being \"seek\". Whether accept / agree to pardon A depends on the Agong (current Agong is the Sultan of Kelantan).

M has been sworn in as PM...now he would need to ask for a royal pardon of A. so right now:
                        1) will M keep to his promise?
                        2) depends on whether the Agong will pardon A and let him be the PM.
