why must they come here?
there will be road blocks and traffic congestion unless they stay put in the hotel during the entire duration.
but their wives will go shopping. it's a peace summit for them, but not for us.
June 12 happens to be the month long holiday.
Shangri-La is most appropriate since it is in a corner off Orchard Road.
MBS would lead to many road blocks like F1.
Sentosa is last option since tourists and Singaporeans would be inconvenienced during the holiday period. -

Don't think they'll choose MBS, tho the wives will wanna shop there. Americans are very averse with shadows of 9/11 & twin towers in mind. Shanghai-la always the safe place for dignitaries.

why did the PM agree to host them? after hosting F1 for donkey years, does Singapore need anymore introduction?
