Afraid of school bus

Calcium,
Did you paint the scenario to those kids. Eg. imagine if you play with your friends and you acidenatlly get into the same situation, will you like it if your friends also treat you like that???
The kids ought to think about it. They never know if they will get into the same situation. -

Bravo, I'm so glad to hear of the improvement. I hope it works out - do keep us updated!I drop by the school yesterday and managed to catch hold of the bus and spoke to the other boys and gals. Apologising to them and asked them if they can accept my boy again.
I explain to them the situation about him fearing the bus and no friends and they were quite receptive and readily forgave him. I will need to check with my boy today how is the situation on bus......
Stay tune and for all the discussion shared, Thankyou very much. -
hi all,
Just wondering if any of you have kids taking the school bus in the form of a van.
Are they safe in your experience ? and the ventilation ? for P1 kids who are quite tall, will it prove to be very cramped ?
The reason why I am asking is most probably the school bus plying on the route will be in the form of a van.
Many thanks.

Is it true that seat belt is a must in the school bus ? My daughter is still squeeze into 3 kids per seat… I had complainted to the bus association and they said that this is allowed by LTA…

Hi all,
How is the school bus arrangement with school like? Intend to send DD to BASC in future but not sure if it can be arranged.
Oso if they have CCA in P3 and have to go to school earlier, is it possible to arrange with the school bus as well? Or do we have to do the fetch/send on CCA days?
Any working parents who can share their views with me? -

Read a pamphlet on the seat belt thingy,
and it stated that there was a deadline
like by 2013 or something ALL small
vans MUST be equipped with seat belts.
Lemme check whether i still have the
pamphlet and will post it here. -

Ring up your child's school transport
to find out the details and timing. Or
if your child's school offer after school
care, even better... no need transport.
My nephew's primary school offers
after school care at only extra like
$30.00 if i'm not mistaken. Value
for money, familiar environment
and most of all within safe school
grounds not requiring travel.. -

Wow, that sounds like a great arrangement. Do you know if we can find a list of schools which offer after sch care at their own premises?
